Mediterranean, watch and listen to the sounds of the African night. Take a boat trip to the mighty Murchison Falls and see many mammals, many birds and the very large Nile crocodiles.
Don’t forget to search the rocks near the waterfall for Pratincola rocks. Admire the beautiful landscapes of Uganda’s largest savannah park and see many Ugandan kobs, wild elephants and the endangered Rothschild giraffe.
You might see the elusive Booteer, a hybrid between a stork and a pelican, when you visit the great papyrus swamps near the Nile Delta.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Murchison Falls
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park, have a lunch stop at Masindi. After lunch visit the Top of the falls, and then proceed to your Hotel.
Here we will stay and with a cool drink and a fabulous view over the river Nile the evening will come with all the noise of an African night.
Day 2: Game Drive, Launch Cruise
After an early breakfast, you shall head out for a game drive. This is a beautiful drive across the savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grassland down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. Drive in the open African savanna in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest, Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and enjoy spotting various Bird species such as the Secretary Bird, Black Chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Marshal Eagles Carmine and Swallow Tailed Bee-Eaters, and many more.
In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride up the Nile, to the legendary Murchison falls, where the park derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls and the crocodiles that bask at the bottom of the falls. Return to hotel by car.
Day 3 Drive to Kampala.
You may choose to have a stop by the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (Optional), a wildlife project concerned with re-introduction of the Rhinos in Uganda, that were declared extinct in the 80’s
