“I grew up in the remote stretches of Northern Uganda, in a world where the line between the community and the wild was a battlefield while watching the horizon glow—not from the sunrise, but from the fires of encirclement hunting.
I saw the ‘blankets’ of the wild—the thick grass and forest—burnt to ash, suffocating the creatures within.
I observed as dogs and spears chased even the smallest songbirds from their comfort zones.
I saw the fear in their eyes. A fear that remains today.
I founded Aamam Safaris Ltd because I couldn’t stay silent while the wild was left with nothing. My life’s work is to stop the chase.
We are building a world where a bird doesn’t fly away in terror when it sees a human, and where the smoke on the horizon is only from a traveler’s campfire.
At Aamam Safaris, our team is 100% local. We didn’t learn about Uganda from a textbook—we learned about it from the wind, the soil, and the sound of the birds.
