3-Day Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Itinerary

Day 1 Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your professional Aamam Safaris native guide will pick you up early from your hotel or airport in Entebbe/Kampala. We drive southwest through Uganda’s changing landscapes, making a scenic stop at the Equator crossing for photography, geographic demonstrations, and a fresh local lunch in Mbarara town. We proceed past tea estates, arriving at the edge of the park for a late afternoon introductory game drive. Check into your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

🍴 Included Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2 Morning Savanna Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Launch Boat Cruise

We cross into the Kasenyi savanna tracks at 06:30 AM to catch active predators hunting before the heat of the day. Spot lions, leopards, massive herds of elephants, cape buffaloes, warthogs, and elegant Ugandan kobs. Return to the lodge for a fresh lunch. At 02:00 PM, embark on a private 2-hour launch boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to view the world’s densest concentration of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and elephant herds bathing along the banks.

🍴 Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 Tree-Climbing Lion Tracking in Ishasha Sector & Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Following breakfast, we check out and transit through the remote southern Ishasha Sector. This unique region is globally famous for its resident tree-climbing lions, which lounge lazily on the wide branches of old fig trees during hot afternoons. After a final wildlife drive, we begin our return journey toward central Uganda. We pause for a local lunch en route, arriving back in Kampala or Entebbe airport in the late afternoon for your flight departure.
